Volunteer

Join our small community project where your help really makes a difference.

Like-UsOur little team is always eager for more help, however large or small. We work very informally and currently all pitch in to help with whatever needs doing. Below are just some examples of the many different ways in which you could help. Little Bundles is a small community project where your help really does make a difference, and we hope you will find it rewarding too.

Apply to be a volunteer

Two new volunteers needed:

Stock management

Keep a count of stock that is both coming in and going out of our storage facility. Decide what items are needed and not needed. Keep up to date with equipment that’s due to be picked up. Keep stationery topped up. Help with shelving donations. Rehome unwanted items. Requires weekly visit to the garage (ideally). Clean or carry out basic repairs on donated items. Arrange to sell or get rid of over stocked or unwanted items. Search Free-cycle to source items in demand.

Donations Volunteer

Organise collections and drop-offs with our volunteers. Be the first port of call for our donors. This is a home-based computer/smart phone dependent position.

Other roles we’re also looking for help with:

Volunteer project events

Join the team for project evenings such as sorting baby clothes, pricing for sales, planning events etc. A great chance to meet and socialise too!

Donations collectors

Car drivers urgently needed to collect donations and deliver them to Little Bundles storage garage. You can fit in collections around your own schedule and focus on collecting in your area.

We’re currently seeking car drivers for all areas of Cambridge and the surrounding villages, for more information pleaseĀ fill outĀ our volunteer form.

Garage appointments

Arrange to meet donors at the garage, check items over, open up the garage, log and store the donation.

Garage management

Meet up with 1 or 2 other volunteers once a month at the Little Bundles garage. Check new stock, log items, arrange stock so it is tidy, safe and easily accessible. This is a vital role in keeping Little Bundles running smoothly and offering a “self-service” facility.

Stock management

Clean or carry out basic repairs on donated items. Arrange to sell or get rid of over stocked or unwanted items. Search Free-cycle to source items in demand.
