Little Bundles is a volunteer led project which aims to provide pregnant women and families in need with maternity clothes, birth packs, baby clothes and essential equipment.
Little Bundles has been launched in partnership with the Cambridge branch of the NCT (formerly the National Childbirth Trust) to meet the needs of those finding themselves in difficult circumstances when they are expecting a baby by providing essential items such as cots, pushchairs, nappies, sanitary wear, maternity clothing for mother and baby clothes, etc. If you would like to donate any items, please see our 'Donations' page for more information on how to do so.
The scheme operates across Cambridge and South Cambridgeshire and will work on a referral only basis, with those in need contacting their midwife, health visitor, social worker, children's centre, etc who will then pass on the details to Little Bundles. It is also hoped that other volunteer agencies can link together so that the scheme can benefit as many people as possible. Please go to the 'Referrals' page for more information.
The scheme is staffed on a voluntary basis and we are in urgent need of more volunteers to get the scheme off the ground. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, please take a look at 'Volunteers' page.
